Successes for LaunchPoint grads encourage others…

Recently while transporting a current LaunchPoint participant to get medicine, we had unexpected and encouraging encounters with three LaunchPoint graduates! While stopping at the red light at Fifth and Central, I noticed Matt sitting on a bench waiting for the bus. Matt has sustained housing for over a year and has been doing well, remaining clean and sober since graduating. He looked happy and upbeat as we talked through the window. When we arrived at Kroger to get medication, we bumped into Richard and Gina. They informed us that they have now moved out of subsidized apartments and have housing with no subsidy. They are both working at Kroger and are proud that they are no longer on food stamps. They have sustained housing over nine months and are moving forward. It was an encouraging trip for the LaunchPoint participants to see our graduates doing so well in the world outside of KARM as they continue to move forward! Judge Pippin
