Baskets of Hope Provides Assistance to Families In Need

Get involved in helping a family in need this Thanksgiving!

Baskets of Hope provides community families in need with a complete Thanksgiving Dinner for up to six people. This year KARM expects as many as 1,200 families to seek assistance in providing this year’s Thanksgiving Dinner for their family. Thanksgiving will be Thursday, November 23, 2017. You can get involved in a couple of different ways. You can help by adopting a Thanksgiving box and filling the box with items from the list, or you can help to load the boxes and turkeys when the distributing churches pick up their allotments to give out (rather than have one distribution point, KARM is partnering with several churches to provide distribution points in various areas of the city).
