Collection of School Supplies at Knox County Walmarts July 16-27.

 WIVK-FM 107.7, Gentry Trailways, Walmart, and Knox Area Rescue Ministries work together annually each July to support homeless and needy children in the Knoxville area through the Stuff the Bus campaign, which seeks to provide hundreds of children the supplies they need for back-to-school success.
 
 
Each year shoppers may purchase any of the items listed below and drop them in the window of the school bus at the Turkey Creek Walmart during the event. Several WIVK on air personalities broadcast from the bus all day, encouraging shoppers to help
Stuff the Bus!  
 
The following suggested supplies are needed to help kids successfully head back to school.
Backpacks
        Three ring binders
        Loose-leaf notebook paper
       Boxes of Kleenex
       Spiral notebooks
      Pocket folders
       Glue sticks/glue bottles
     Pencil boxes
    Pencils and pens
     Crayons and markers
   Rulers
