It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas at KARM Stores

We have been blessed to have three different groups of teenagers Christmas storehelp in preparing our Christmas store for opening. Before beginning each volunteer opportunity, I asked the volunteers this question “When you hear ‘Christmas’, what do you think of?”

As you can imagine, the answers included “presents”, “trees”, “decorations”, and “Santa”. Essentially, everything you might be able to buy in a store.

But when I followed with “What is Christmas really about?” the answers changed. “Family”, “Bethlehem”, “Love”, and “Jesus’ birth” are some of the responses I received. Things money cannot buy.

Part of our goal at KARM Stores is to reveal Christ to our community. In our Christmas Store, we have the opportunity to share the message of God’s love in a unique way. From the moment a customer enters, we want the message of love to be seen and heard. While we are selling items to provide funding to Knox Area Rescue Ministries, we also share how lives are restored in Jesus’ name. Each person who enters our stores becomes a partner in spreading the message of God’s love to people who most need that message of hope.

So whether you are looking for a new tree to decorate, lights for the house, tins to use for sharing cookies, or simply want a respite from your daily busyness, we invite you to join us at the KARM Stores Christmas store. Come be refreshed and renewed in the true spirit of Christmas.
